Diofan®helps in the formulation of highly technical, one-pack, water-based paints which are better for both health and the environment. This low VOC dispersion (<100 ppm) requires very little coalescent, allowing for the production of anticorrosion systems compliant with European and local regulations, notably those related to VOCs. In addition, Diofan® can be fully compliant with regulations for food grade paints.

- Production of anti-corrosion systems using a 1 K primer with salt spray resistance of >1000 h, in compliance with the ASTM B117 standard
- More resistant to corrosion than existing water-based paints

DIOFAN® P 510 |
Diofan® P 510 is a newly developed polyvinylidene chloride copolymer, single component, water based dispersion. Thanks to its unrivalled low moisture and water permeability, coatings based on Diofan® P 510 exhibit outstanding corrosion resistance, even in the most severe environments. They provide excellent early water resistance, with overall performance equivalent to that obtained from traditional high performance solvent based paint systems (salt spray performance > 1000 h). |
